Salt Dissolves in the Water
A small amount of common salt (sodium chloride) is added to your pool — at a concentration far lower than sea water, and virtually undetectable to swimmers.

Electrolysis Generates Chlorine
Pool water passes through the chlorinator's electrolytic cell, where titanium plates convert the salt into hypochlorous acid — the active sanitiser that keeps your water clean and bacteria-free.

The Cycle Repeats Automatically
Once chlorine has done its job, it reverts back to salt and the process begins again — a continuous, self-sustaining cycle that requires minimal input from you.
