A Daisy solar cover works just like a garden greenhouse. The transparent bubble material allows the sun's warmth to pass directly through into the pool water — water is an excellent absorber of solar energy, and the cover locks that warmth in by preventing it from escaping back into the atmosphere.
At the same time, the cover acts as a physical barrier to evaporation — the process responsible for the majority of heat and water loss from any pool. By eliminating evaporation, Daisy covers simultaneously retain heat, reduce water loss and cut the amount of chemicals needed to keep your pool balanced.
