Solar Water Heating · Ingesol Canarias
Hot Water. Powered by Lanzarote's Sun.
Ingesol Canarias manufacture thermosiphon solar water heating systems right here in the Canary Islands — designed and built specifically for island conditions, and installed across Lanzarote by Aquadreams.

About Ingesol Canarias
Built in the Canary Islands, for the Canary Islands.
Ingesol Canarias has been working in solar water heating since 2005 — and uniquely, they manufacture all of their own thermosiphon equipment entirely in-house. After years of working with imported systems, they chose to design and build their own units, adapting them specifically to the conditions found in the Canary Islands.
The result is a range of solar water heating systems that are genuinely built for this climate — optimised for the radiation levels, wind conditions and temperature ranges found across Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and the wider Canarian archipelago. Aquadreams is proud to supply and install Ingesol systems across Lanzarote.

How It Works
Natural Circulation. No Pump Required.
01
Solar Collector Absorbs Heat
The INGESOL-AR solar collector panel absorbs solar radiation and heats the water passing through it — a high-grade collector conceived and manufactured entirely in the Canary Islands.
02
Thermosiphon Effect Circulates Water
As water heats up in the collector it naturally rises into the tank above — no pump, no electricity, no moving parts. The thermosiphon effect creates continuous natural circulation as long as the sun is shining.
03
Hot Water is Stored and Ready
The insulated tank stores the heated water until it's needed. An electric backup heater ensures hot water is always available even on overcast days or during high-demand periods.

Ideal for up to 4 people
150DBUL — 150 Litre
The 150DBUL is Ingesol's most popular model — a 150-litre thermosiphon unit with the tank positioned slightly lower than in the standard high-tank configuration. This lower profile reduces visual impact on the roofline while delivering the same performance — an important consideration for properties where aesthetics matter.

Ideal for larger households
300DBUL — 300 Litre
The 300DBUL scales up the Ingesol thermosiphon system to 300 litres — providing generous hot water capacity for larger households or properties with higher daily demand. The same low-profile tank positioning reduces rooftop visual impact while delivering reliable solar water heating for up to 6–8 people.

The Benefits
Why Solar Water Heating
Up to 90% of Hot Water Needs
A well-sized thermosiphon system can provide up to 90% of a household's hot water requirements from solar energy alone — dramatically reducing energy bills year-round.
No Pump or Moving Parts
The thermosiphon effect requires no pump, no electricity and no moving parts to circulate the water — meaning the system is virtually maintenance-free and highly reliable.
Made for Lanzarote's Climate
Ingesol systems are specifically engineered and tested for Canarian conditions — the radiation levels, temperature ranges and wind exposure found on the island are built into every design decision.
Immediate Bill Reduction
Solar water heating produces immediate, measurable reductions in energy consumption. With Lanzarote's exceptional year-round sunshine, the payback period is among the fastest in Europe.
